In the words of Taylor Swift – ladies always rise above.

Taylor Swift has been the victim of another deepfake image just days after a series of explicit AI images went viral on Twitter. The social media platform (X), was late in response but eventually turned off the function to search for the music star while they investigated. However, as of Monday, fans are now able to search for the Cruel Summer hitmaker as the platform promised to respond to incidents similar to these.

Now, one Donald Trump fan has seemingly edited a photo of the pop star supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce at one of his matches.

It’s doing the rounds on the platform, with the fake photo appearing to show Taylor holding up a huge flag that reads: “Trump Won. Democrats Cheated!”

In the original picture, which is available on photo wire service Getty, Swift is smiling with her hands clasped together as she watches the game.

But it didn’t stop Benny Johnson, a Trump supporter, from posting it on social media to ask if it was real.

It seems Trump supporters are trying to play down the Democrats are attempting to get the Lover hitmaker’s endorsement for President Joe Biden in 2024.

The New York Times reports Biden’s campaign is hoping the singer will support him, and with her huge following and devoted fandom, it could prove lucrative if she did. However, it wouldn’t be the best news for Trump, who is trying to get back into the White House four years after leaving. She has previously opposed Trump and Republican lawmakers, like Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn.

She told The Guardian in 2019: “We’re a democracy at least, we’re supposed to be – where you’re allowed to disagree, dissent, debate. I really think that he thinks this is an autocracy.”

But the fake photo has already been seen 1.7 million times on Twitter, showing how misinformation on the app is a real problem. The real image, taken by photographer David Eullit is from September 2023, reports Newsweek, when Swift attended the first game of Travis Kelce. It was a big event, as it was the first public outing of the two together when they were officially a couple. The Kansas City Chiefs were up against the Chicago Bears.

It comes after Taylor clapped back at a football fan who hurled abuse at her when she left the stadium after the Chiefs beat the Ravens.
