Sylvester Stallone has a mean right hook.

The Rocky star playfully shadow boxes with Pope Francis when he meets him at the Vatican, the new trailer for the second season of the family reality show reveals. The first season was a hit with Paramount+ and was renewed for a second part.

In the teaser clips, we see Sylvester Stallone, with his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone, and daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet travel to Rome on a family vacation. During their trip, they had the honor of meeting the head of the Catholic Church in Vatican City, Pope Francis.

The 77-year-old, after speaking with the Pope, told the crowd: “I love you, keep punching!”

Scarlet, 21, is embarrassed by her dad and says: “My dad starts shadowboxing… the pope.”

The reality TV show follows the crazy lives of the family, with Stallone showing his protective side over his three daughters. After the first season, fans saw how he would write their ‘breakup texts’ when they needed them too.

The duo revealed the family secret during a podcast when sitting down with Hannah Berner and Paige DeSoboro.

Sistine, 25, explained: “My dad is a savant when it comes to our dating lives, in many areas. In one area, he writes most of our breakup texts”.

27-year-old Sophia added: “I highly suggest that girls should go up to their dad and have their dad write a breakup text because men know men.”

But Sylvester Stallone likes to play the dad card whenever they bring someone home. The sisters explained he appears “standoffish” and will “stand in the corner” not saying anything if they do invite someone special to meet the family.

In the new trailer, we hear Scarlet explain that they only introduce their significant other, Louis, to members of the family one at a time because “they’re a lot” to take in and she doesn’t want them to ‘scare him off’.

In another clip, we see Sly sitting in a car with one of the prospective boyfriends and he tells the camera: “Give me a reason to go ballistic”. In the next shot, we then see Sly back in the ring pulling punches in practice.

The Family Stallone will premiere on Paramount+ on Wednesday, February 21.
