You can sigh with relief, Taylor Swift has made it back in time for the Super Bowl.
Fans had grown concerned the singer wouldn’t be able to jet back to Las Vegas following four days of back-to-back shows in Tokyo, Japan, for her Eras Tour. Her boyfriend Travis Kelce is joining his team the Kansas City Chiefs as they’re about to battle it out against the San Francisco 49ers to try to get their rings again this year.
After the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens two weeks ago, listeners pointed out how the time constraints may have prevented Taylor Swift from being able to get back for the big game. But thanks to her private jet, and the time difference, she has reportedly already landed at LAX and making her way to Las Vegas for tonight’s game.
Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show the singer’s plane touching down after an eight-hour flight from Tokyo, it bore the call sign, ‘The Football Era’. Her flight was tracked by more than 32,000 people watching as she flew back thousands of miles to support her beau.
A fleet of SUVs were seen pulling up next to the hanger at the airport’s private terminal. The 34-year-old was then whisked away, shielding herself with a circus from the mania of fans and media who had gathered to see her arrive.
Police were also present at the terminal to ensure her safety.
It’s believed she stayed at her home in Los Angeles for the night before she’s expected to travel 300 miles to Las Vegas today. Although some trolls have hurled abuse at Taylor Swift claiming she’s ‘ruined the NFL’, a lot of players and sports stars have come out to support her. Charles Barkley called haters ‘losers’ for hitting out at the singer.
It comes after the songwriter picked up the gong for Best Album of the Year award at the Grammys last week.
Her tight end Travis Kelce dodged questions over proposing to the singer if the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, and joked he’s more concerned about getting ‘this ring’ – the winner’s rings handed out to the team of the Super Bowl champions.
Reports say Kelce splashed out $1 million on a suite for his family and friends to watch the game.
It comes after Travis Kelce revealed the adorable reason he chose the number 87 for the Chiefs.
