Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, seems to be following in his footsteps as he scores a role at the Republican Convention in July.
The 18-year-old who towers over his dad Donald Trump has been named on a list of delegates-at-large to attend the big event.
Delegates from across the States will formally select the party’s nominee for president at the gathering in Wisconsin. It’s set to be Barron’s father, Donald Trump, who will be selected at the Republican Convention.
It’s a big step for the youngster, as his mother Melania Trump usually keeps him out of the public eye as much as possible.

The duo only share Barron from almost 20 years of marriage, but the former President has children from previous relationships who are much older.
But the ex-model did her best to protect the teenager when his father was in the White House, with Melania and Barron not moving in until after Donald’s inauguration.
Instead he remained with his mom at their home in Trump Tower, New York, to finish his school year before they packed up for the big move in 2017.
When Barron did finally move in, at age 11, he was the first male child to live in the big house since John F Kennedy Jr in 1963.
Barron Trump’s role at Republican Convention is a rare public appearance
Despite his father being one of the famous leaders of the modern world, Barron still kept out of the spotlight.
He was enrolled to a private school in Maryland, with reports claiming Melania was strict when it came to his privacy.
When the family moved to Florida after Donald Trump’s residency, he attended another private institution in Palm Beach. And while he grew up, he grew up fast, as fans comment about his tall height, as he stands at 6ft 7in (201 cm).
Barron Trump has a big summer ahead of the Republican Convention as he’s set to graduate next week as well.

He has appeared on the delegate list with a number of Donald’s allies, such as his half-siblings, Donald Jr, Eric and Tiffany. But his daughter Ivanka Trump hasn’t been included on the exclusive guest list as she has come out publicly to say won’t be a part of her father’s re-election campaign.
In a statement to US media, the Florida party chairman for the Republican Convention Evan Power said: “We are fortunate to have a great group of grassroots leaders, elected officials, and members of the Trump family [Barron, Donald Jr, Eric and Tiffany] working together as part of the Florida delegation.”
A Trump campaign official told ABC News Barron was “very interested in our nation’s political process”.
