Stormy Daniels was fearful over testifying in Donald Trump’s hush money trial and wore a bulletproof vest when she appeared in court, her attorney says.
The adult film star took precautions underneath her clothes ‘every day’ until she arrived at the Manhattan courthouse, her lawyer told CNN.
Clark Brewster, her attorney, said she was ‘concerned’ about the publicity of the trial and for her safety.
He told CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360: “She was concerned about the security coming into New York”.

Stormy Daniels was fearful ahead of the Donald Trump trial, he says.
“I can tell you that before she came on Sunday, I mean, she cried herself to sleep.”
“She was paralyzed with fear, not of taking the stand or telling her story, but what some nut might do to her,” he added.
“And I’m genuinely concerned about it as well.”
The former President is facing 34 felony charges relating to falsifying business records to cover up a payment he allegedly sent to Daniels to keep quiet about a sexual encounter. It’s said he paid her $130,000 to not divulge details about the alleged affair, which took place at the time Donald was married to his wife Melania.
The ex TV star has vehemently denied the charges against him and claims no sexual contact took place.
It comes as Trump’s ex-lawyer Michael Cohen took the stand this week and during his testimony corroborated several details of the film star’s account.
An ongoing gag order has barred Trump from publicly lashing out at any witnesses, court staff, jurors or their families.
The trial continues.
