Kanye West’s chief of staff at Yeezy, Milo Yiannopoulos has officially quit the brand claiming the company’s plan to move into the adult film business pushed his decision.

The 39-year-old confirmed the news today, May 15, adding he wished Yeezy creator, Kanye West, ‘every success in the future’.

It comes after the 46-year-old rapper is believed to move the company into the adult film business after a tough number of years within the fashion industry.

It also follows after the music star, previously married to Kim Kardashian but now with Bianca Censori, claimed he couldn’t book any venues for his upcoming album tour due to controversial anti-Semitic remarks he’s made over the years.

Milo told media outlets he would be leaving the brand over “concerns about Kanye West’s new team”, and hoped Ye would ‘proceed with caution’ in the future.

He provided TMZ a copy of his resignation letter, where he wrote he didn’t want to be involved with Kanye West and Yeezy’s new adult film venture.

He wrote he could not be ‘complicit in the production and dissemination’ of these ‘films and literature for moral and religious reasons’

Milo added ‘such material and the kind of people invariably involved in its product represent an imminent danger to my life as a recovering addict’.

He continued, being involved would present ‘an unacceptable risk to my physical and spiritual life as a former homosexual’.

The alt-right political commentator claimed he’d perform a handover for staff by May 31, 2024, or the first adult film shoot set to take place, whichever came first.

Milo previously worked with Ye on his 2024 presidential campaign, which was unsuccessful.

But he did claim he organized a meeting between Donald Trump, the rapper and far-right figure Nick Fuentes in 2022.

The chief of staff also alleged it’s a new blow for Kanye West, as a number of Yeezy executives have left over the past several weeks. But it wasn’t clear if plans to move into the new film venture was the reason.

It’s been reported Yeezy’s studio could launch in the summer, with Stormy Daniels’ ex-husband, Mike Moz, telling the outlet, he has started discussions with the celebrity about moving into the adult film business.

But he rejected claims it’d just be ‘another studio’.

He said: “It will be like nothing we’ve ever seen before”.

The downfall of Yeezy and Kanye West’s relationship with Adidas

Last year, Adidas confirmed it was ending the collaboration with Kanye West and Yeezy, because of his comments leading to them axing their partnership, and it ended up ‘hurting’ the business.

The 46-year-old designed sneakers under the brand for the footwear giant, but Ye’s anti-Semitic remarks and the deal being cut between them, caused Adidas to lose $400m in the first quarter of 2023. Overall, they said total revenue fell by 1%.

Then two months later, CEO Bjorn Gulden said the company would sell parts of their remaining inventory and donate the funds to organizations that were hurt by Ye’s statements.

The two companies worked together for almost 10 years. But in October 2022, when he wore a White Lives Matter T-shirt at a fashion event, it caused a stir worldwide.

The Anti-Defamation League condemned his actions, detailing the phrase is often used by White supremacist groups. But days later, Ye said: “I can say anti-Semitic s*** and Adidas cannot drop me’, on a podcast.

But loyal fans of the star are still supporting him, and popularity hasn’t dwindled. However, considering Kanye West’s decision to move into the adult film business for Yeezy, it may mean focus is directed elsewhere.
