Kim Kardashian 'rattled' after getting booed at Tom Brady's roast - 'It's abuse'

Kim Kardashian messaged comedian Nikki Glaser after getting brutally booed when she appeared on stage at Tom Brady’s roast on Netflix.

The reality TV star was said to be left ‘rattled’ by the backlash she received from the live crowd.

The 43-year-old DM’d the 39-year-old comic after the ‘abuse’ she endured when she was trying to crack jokes.

It comes a week after reports claim Netflix cut out parts of the booing from the special, which they initially said would be live-streamed and unedited.

While appearing on Jake Johnson and Gareth Reynolds’ We’re Hear To Help podcast, Glaser said Kim Kardashian messaged her about taking part in Tom Brady’s roast.

She received the texts when she was heading to their studio.

Glaser said: “She said, “You killed it on the roast,” pretty much. I wrote back, “Kim, oh my god. I was trying to make eye contact with you every chance I could to mouth to you, “You f**king killed, girl.”

But the star thinks Kim played her part well after her ‘elite’ Saturday Night Live monologue when she hosted the show in 2021, where she ended up meeting her next boyfriend Pete Davidson, before they split eight months later.

Glaser then thanked the mom-of-four for being ‘so nice’.

Johnson and Reynolds asked her to check if Kim had written back but wasn’t expecting a reply, however, when she looked, the SKIMS founder had already messaged her again.

Kim replied: “Aww thanks! And YOU killed it. I don’t know how you do this — it’s abuse lol.”

Despite messaging over Instagram, Glaser doesn’t think they’ll be besties anytime soon, but was up for it if she does want to ‘hang out’.

Why Kim Kardashian getting booed was edited out from Tom Brady’s roast

While the live-streamed roast of Tom Brady saw Kim Kardashian being booed and called out by the audience, the show on Netflix later was 13 minutes short – and this part made the axe too.

In the current version of the comedy special, fans only hear positive cheers and applause for the TV star which is a far cry from the live stream.

The Vice President of stand-up and comedy formats at Netflix, Robbie Paw, explained why the streaming giant cut it out.

He said: “Post edits are standard practice for comedy specials and happen in live broadcasts, whether that’s subtitles, adding things or removing things that we can’t do when it’s streaming live.”

But when Paw was asked if the 43-year-old asked for them to take her booing out, he said ‘no’.

He added no talent were consulted as part of their decision to remove clips of the roast.
