Channing Tatum has opened up on turning from Taylor Swift’s fan into her friend – and the benefits are just as sweet as you’d imagine.
Taylor Swift is the pop queen of the moment and she shows no signs of stopping just yet. As the celebrity continues with her record-breaking Eras Tour it’s hard not to see her in the headlines any given day.
Now movie star Channing Tatum has given his two cents on being Taylor Swift’s friend, and it’s just as magical as you expect.
While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 44-year-old was asked about his experience attending the concert in Los Angeles.

He said: “I was a fan of the music I’ve listened to her forever but I did not know she was such an unstoppable force.
“I kind of know her a little personally and she’s really kind of just normal and sweet”.
The Magic Mike star said the 34-year-old is the hostess with the mostess when it comes to having Hollywood over for dinner.
He added: “She’ll make you dinner and whip it up no problem. Like homemade Pop-Tarts. Warm Pop-Tarts. I’m like, ‘Did you just make these? How are these warm?'”
Channing also praised Taylor Swift’s incredible performance on stage, with Tatum continuing: “Then you get to see her on stage for a three-plus hour show – I challenge any triathlete that’s a champion to go and do what she’s doing on stage.
“I was a fan-fan afterwards”.
He continued to swoon over her, saying she was ‘cool’ and ‘so smart’, but made sure that he brought up his fiancee Zoe Kravitz.
Host Fallon spoke about their recent engagement, and it seems the film star is excited to see his love walk down the aisle to meet him.

The dad said: “Thank you for that. I’m so happy.
“I don’t even know how to really put it into words. She’s so special. To get to wake up every day and create with somebody – it’s really, really good”.
The duo started dating in 2021 after they worked together on her directorial debut, Blink Twice. Channing and the 35-year-old have gone on from strength to strength and got engaged this year.
Tatum was previously married to Jenna Dewan, and they finalized their divorce in 2019, sharing daughter Everly who is 11-years-old.
