Taylor Swift responds to Dave Grohl’s dig on stage after he says ‘we actually play live’

Dave Grohl has started beef with pop queen Taylor Swift, implying she doesn’t play live at the Eras Tour.

The Foo Fighters were playing a gig in London, the same city as Taylor Swift who wrapped up her first visit to the capitol this summer. The music star added extra dates for London in August so will be returning.

While Dave Grohl and his group were playing at London stadium on Saturday, Taylor was into the second night of the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium.

But it seems a celebrity feud is on the horizon with his recent remarks.

Fans think he’s started beef with the singer because his 17-year-old daughter was harassed by Swifties when she criticized the star for flying her private jet.

It seems out of character for Dave Grohl, as in the past he’s said positive things about Taylor Swift.

“I tell you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift,” he told the crowd.

“We would like to call our tour, the Errors Tour, because I feel like we’ve had more than a few eras and more than a few f**king few errors too. Just a couple

“That’s because we actually play live, WHAT?

“I’m just saying. You guys like raw, f**king Rock n Roll music, right? You’ve come to the right f**king place!”

It seems Taylor heard what he said and hit back. On the following night, she acknowledged her performers on stage.

“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much,” she said. “And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”

Taylor Swift and Dave Grohl fans engulfed in heated debate

Both sides of the spectrum have come forward to express their opinion, and some are not pleased.

One Taylor fan wrote: “Doesn’t he tell a story of being at Paul McCartney’s house and being asked to do a song, but he couldn’t play the piano, so Taylor Swift saved him from embarrassment by offering to play? This seems an odd way to repay that kindness.”

A second added: “I love Dave and Foo Fighters. I also love Taylor Swift. I hope he was joking because that was unnecessary and unfair.”

A third added: “I mean she doesn’t. You can see when she plays guitar that she’s not actually playing. That’s doesn’t mean she doesn’t know how, it just means she doesn’t really do it on tour.”

While a fourth penned: “Pretty out of character for him.”
