Ariana Grande has made comments about Jeffrey Dahmer and they have not gone down with some fans, who have said it’s ‘disgusting’.

The music star appeared on Penn Badgley’s show, Podcrushed, alongside the other hosts, Sophie Ansari and Nava Kavelin. The first instalment came out two weeks ago, with part two being released last night, June 23.

During the chat, the celebrity confessed she was “infatuated with serial killers” when she was growing up.

But Ariana Grande admitted she revealed this during a Q&A with young fans.

“It was in between me being Cat [Sam & Cat] and pop stuff,” Ariana said.

“So it was like a younger group, and they were with parents, and someone said, ‘If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be?'”

The music star asked the fan’s parents if she could answer truthfully, and they said ‘yes’.

“I was like, ‘I mean, Jeffrey Dahmer is pretty fascinating.'”

“I think I would have loved to have met him,” she added, smiling. “You know, maybe with a third party or someone involved. But I have questions.”

Nava and Sophie chuckled, but fans appear to have been rubbed up the wrong way.

One Reddit user reacted: “Unless the question is ‘which serial killer would you have dinner with’ and you have a gun to your head there’s no damn reason to say this.”

Another said: “This is so vile… I have a great interest in crime cases but the LAST thing I’d want to do is have dinner with a serial killer.”

While another was concerned: “People so obsessed with true crime that they start romanticizing the killers… truly some of my least favorite people. I hate how popular this sort of stuff has become the past few years.”
