Brazilian singer Ayres Sasaki has sadly died at just 35 years old after he was eletrocuted onstage when he hugged a wet fan.
The rock star was in the resort town of Salinopolis, Para, last weekend, when he embraced a wet fan during a concert on July 13. However, he received a deadly electric shock which caused him to die in the freak accident, local media says.
Others have claimed he was electrocuted while he played the guitar during his performance.
People rushed to his aid, hoping to resuscitate him when he collapsed, but despite their best efforts, he passed away at the Solar hotel.

Ayres Sasaki leaves behind his wife Mariana, who he married just 11 months ago. Last October he posted a tribute to his bride, saying “eternity awaits us my love”.
The celebrity‘s cause of death is being investigated by local police and civil cops of the state of Para.
Aside from his career on stage, he was also an architect, entering the music world in 2018.
Newspaper Correio Braziliense and Istoe have reported Ayres Sasaki was shocked when he hugged a wet fan onstage, however, paper Diario do Para claims he was electrocuted while playing his instrument.
The Hotel Solar issued a statement where they vowed to ‘support’ his family.
“A super charismatic guy, his talent was absurd. He was the best voice and guitar player in Belém!’ said friend and fellow singer Adriano Freitas.
“A great friend, a great family man, attentive to his friends and to those who liked his work.”
He added: “Sasaki was known as the king of encores. Once, they asked for so many encores at a private concert that he played for 12 hours without stopping.”
