A college professor from the University of Tennessee is being hailed a genius for the way he’s giving his students extra credit.
You’d think it was from extra reading, a pop quiz or a presentation, but no, he found a fun way to entertain the entire class.
A clip on TikTok shows the professor instead opting to give extra credit to anyone who leaves the class to a sad song and act the part. It was a hit with the students who are all to happy to play along.
We see a series of students walk up the stairs slowly to their ‘sad’ track, often looking back in despair or misery, really getting into their role as they make their way out of the class. The rest of the class just watches on, making it seem even more tragic.

Even Dr Pepper loved the idea, writing: “We’d be sobbing the whole way out”.
Someone else asked: “How is everybody keeping a straight face? I would’ve been in tears as soon as the music started.”
Another said: “As a super dramatic person, they did not understand the assignment. The way I’d be eating this up if I got the chance lol”.
Kenzie Greene, who has uploaded all the videos has been posting updates, as some followers wanted more of a dramatic exit, so she posted more.
If you think anyone could just choose to do it, you see the professor sometimes handpicks who has to leave by pointing at them. He also plays along as well, saluting another student, and holding his head in his hands as he ‘can’t watch on no more’.
Her first clip has already racked up 27 million views, with the latest clip having 1.3 million in just one day.
