A clip of commuters on a bus in Sydney being asked to finish the Taylor Swift lyric may have outed a secret Swiftie, in a hilarious clip.
We see Sunrise’s weather reporter board a bus in the morning and thrust a microphone into people’s faces, asking them to finish the rest of the line.
Some are more enthusiastic than others, we get it, you didn’t expect to be singing Tay-Tay’s Love Story on national television when you left the house this morning.
Taylor Swift is currently in Sydney as she’s set to continue the Australian leg of her Eras Tour, after a successful set of shows in Melbourne. The singer appeared overcome with emotion in one of the gigs when she received a standing ovation from 96,000 fans in the stadium.
But, we’re sure the celebrity is over the moon that even if you pretend to not know her lyrics, most do, deep down.
So when this guy is asked by Sam Mac to finish the lyrics after playing a part of her song, he quickly brushes it off not knowing what it is.
“Oh, Taylor Swift,” he replies instead of following along with the game.
But then Sam, who had been going up to different people, chose to switch it up and stay with the commuter to get him to finish most of them. And he did pretty well – considering he had to ‘think’ about who it was.
“That guy pretending that he didn’t know the lyrics and then proceeding to know them all,” wrote one TikTok fan.
“And I said… Oh! Taylor Swift,” wrote another”.
While a third points out: “Imagine you’re just trying to go to work haha”.
