Jennifer Lopez has cancelled dates of her This Is Me… Live tour in the US, so she can take time off to be ‘at home with her family’, as rumors her and Ben Affleck’s marriage is going through a difficult time.

The Jenny From The Block hitmaker announced the summer tour, set to take place this year, was cancelled on Friday.

Live Nation said: “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”

The celebrity also addressed fans through her newsletter, On the JLo, where she said she was ‘devastated’, but ‘absolutely necessary’.

She wrote: “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down.

“Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.

“I promise I will make it up to you, and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time.”

Jennifer Lopez cancelling her tour dates comes over speculation her marriage with Ben Affleck is on the rocks. There were also rumors of low ticket sales.

The music star initially announced the tour would be for her new album, but later switched it to become a greatest hits tour, including her latest music. It’s said the success of Taylor Swift and The Eras Tour are pushing other stars to include their popular back catalog, to avoid poor ticket sales.

Jennifer Lopez’s tour was to support her ninth studio album, and set to begin in Orlando, Florida, at the end of the month, June 26, but it’s now cancelled.

It was going to be her first tour in five years, with the record being the first solo album to be released in 10 years.

This Is Me… Now came out earlier this year, 20 years after another, This Is Me… Then. Live Nation confirmed to fans anyone effected by the cancellation will be automatically refunded.
