Married At First Sight star, Andrew Jury, from the New Zealand show, has died at just 33 years old.

He was one of the original grooms to grace the first season back in 2017, with the builder being just 26-years-old when he joined.

The shocking news of the celebrity’s passing has led to his co-stars paying tribute on Instagram.

Bret and Angel Renall, as well as Benjamin Blackwell, said: “It’s with the heaviest hearts we’ve come together to acknowledge the passing of Andrew Jury.

“We had the absolute pleasure of filming and participating in a show which leaves us intricately linked for a lifetime.

“Despite his struggles, Andrew was always friendly and the life of the party during our shared experience and he really valued his time on the show.

“At this time our entire cast wish to send our deepest condolences and love to his family – Ben, Angel, Brett, Vicky, Haydn, Lacey, Claire, Dom, Aaron, Luke, Belinda.”

During the TV show, Andrew was paired up with bride Vicky Gleeson-Stokes. Andrew Jury stayed with Vicky during the Married At First Sight finale, but later called it quits after it ended.

A year after, he questioned the ethics of the series, stating he and Vicky were complete opposites but were put together despite the show claiming to genuinely match people. He also made accusations about the conditions contestants are put under during filming.

Warner Bros Discovery also paid tribute, saying it expressed its ‘deepest condolences’ to Andrew’s loved ones this weekend.

They said: “WBD takes duty of care extremely seriously and has protocols in place regarding the wellbeing of cast and crew.

“All MAFS NZ contributors have access to mental health professionals throughout the process, including pre-screening, during production and after broadcast.”
