Donald Trump got his back up when he was called ‘weird’ by Vice President Kamala Harris and other members of the Democratic party.

The former TV star who is hoping to get back into the Oval Office told radio host Clay Travis on Thursday that he’s ‘never been called weird’, despite Kamala Harris saying this about Donald Trump.

He fired back by saying the same thing about his rival.

Trump said: “They’re the weird ones. Nobody’s ever called me weird. I’m a lot of things, but weird I’m not. And I’m upfront. And he’s not either, I will tell you. J.D. is not at all. They are.”

The celebrity added: “If you’ve ever seen her with the laugh and everything else, that’s a weird deal going on there”.

It comes after the Harris campaign posted the audio from the interview on social media, taking a jibe at the former President.

Reports say he has complained to his inner circle about the media attention the Democrats are receiving over their campaign on social media.

They are not only claiming Republicans are threats to freedom or democracy but have called Donald Trump and other members just straight-up weird.

REPORT: Donald Trump admitted he and Melania ‘don’t even sleep in the same room’

The Vice President called the star weird at a rally in Massachusetts on Saturday, and the crowd erupted into laughter.

She said: “Donald Trump has been resorting to some wild lies about my record, and some of what he and his running mate are saying, it’s just plain weird.”

Now it’s trickled down to official press releases and internet memes, and have been used by other politicians, including Josh Shapiro, Andy Beshear and Tim Walz.

But they’re not the only side to dish out insults, with JD Vance called Harris and other Democrats ‘childless cat ladies’, and appeared to suggest parents with biological children deserve more political power than non-parents.
