A zookeeper dressed for the part when it came to an annual training drill at the zoo.
The Tobu Zoo in Miyashiro Town, Saitama Prefecture, in Japan, held its training drill this year which saw a zookeeper dress up as a fugitive white tiger for the exercise, pretending to be an escaped animal.
The performer wore a white sweatshirt with a tiger’s face on the hood as he walked on all fours as fellow employees put the zoo’s escaped animal protocols to the test.
In the drill, they assumed a white tiger kept at the zoo escaped following the effects of a major earthquake, where glass at the facility broke, and the animals made a run for it.

A video shows the team put up net barriers and simulated tranquilizers to bring down their colleague. They also called for evacuations to prevent visitors from getting close to the exercise.
They then secured him with rope, placing him in a net, before returning the ‘tiger’ to a secure area.
Boss Masaru Kaminaga said the annual exercises are an important part of the zoo.
He told NHK: “In the event of an emergency, it is important for each person to understand their role and respond accordingly. I’m doing it”.
