The dad of a missing 13-year-old girl from Texas found an unnerving clue by a dumpster, cops have said.

Missing teenager Jillian Marie Monroe disappeared while taking trash out to a dumpster at a San Antonio apartment complex, police have said.

She was throwing away an empty fish tank when she vanished, her family told deputies.

Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the family were in the process of moving in a news release on March 6. The girl’s father found the fish tank close to the dumpsters but there was no sign of Jillian, officials added.

The girl was last seen at 3.48 pm on Tuesday, March 5, the sheriff’s office reports.

She attends Brisco Middle School.
